Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens at 4:00 PM

Next up in your day itinerary is a trip to Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens where you’ll see many university undergrads meander around and flock by. From one of the most happening hang out areas of the city to popular wedding venue, this beautiful garden has so much to. City Vistas from Duquesne Incline at 10:00 AM

To see the stunning view of the city from the top of Mount Washington, take an uphill trolley ride the Duquesne Incline. By day, the crystal view of the city from the observatory point is simply breathtaking. And when the sun sets, the illuminating city view will transport you to a mystical world. The beautiful view is of course a big hit among visitors but this is also a famous spot for photography. After capturing the beauty through camera lens and your eyes, stop by the museum of Pittsburgh history and shop for souvenir at the gift shop.

Time to Explore the University of Pittsburgh Campus at 11:30 AM

Take some time out to visit the University of Pittsburgh which is a 132-acre campus campus, garbed by multiple historic buildings, several notable monuments and Cathedral of Learning. A tour of the campus will take you to the Stephen Foster Memorial Museum, which is devoted to the Pittsburgh native. You must not miss a stop by the Cathedral of Learning - a 535 feet tall Gothic revival cathedral. Also step in the 26 Nationality Rooms in the cathedral that exhibit beautiful artifacts and furnishings depicting the tradition and culture of several ethnicity. It is recommended to participate in one of the guided tours for a thorough exploration of the university.

A Multi-level Masterpiece - Fallingwater at 2:30 AM

Take your trip to a home, hemmed over an actual waterfall. You will be awestruck to step in the multi-level home of concrete, stone and glass and moreover, standing above a waterfall. It is advisable to avail one of its tour arrangements to properly explore the structure. You can opt for a regular 45 minutes tour, or else for an in depth exploration, avail the two hour tour. If you have your kids along, they can also participate in one of the tours but kids below 6 years are not allowed. Family Fun Time - Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium at 4:00 PM

Your Pittsburgh trip with your kids will not be complete without a visit to Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium. The zoo is home to more than 400 different animal species. You will be really impressed to come across so many varieties of animals dwelling in their well preserved habitats. Biking or Hiking Trails - The Great Allegheny Passage at 5:30 PM

Next up is an adventurous take of your trip. The Great Allegheny Passage is a 150 mile long trail that offers breathtaking views, biking and hiking trails and a plenty of activities.
